Dermal fillers

Sapphire Aesthetics, based in Easingwold in between York and Thirsk, provide Dermal Filler injections at our clinic. Dermal Fillers are made from naturally occurring hyaluronic acid. They are injected into soft tissue to help with facial wrinkles, replace lost volume, contour, define or add volume to facial features. There are many brands of fillers, some of the ones you may recognise are: Juvederm, Restylane, Teosyal, and Belotero.

Dermal fillers are temporary as they are naturally absorbed by the body. The length of time a filler lasts depends on the individual, filler used and area of the face that it is injected in to.

Dermal fillers are safe but do carry some risks, mostly small risks and it is therefore imperative to have a consultation before treatment with a qualified medical professional who can deal with any complications should they arise.
